Some Hells Kitchen Faves

Hands down the best falafel in NYC... Azuri Cafe. Well I assume it's the best. It probably is. Go try the falafel platter and thank me later. It's a hole in the wall serving food of the gods. Go now.

Solid yummy food: Nizza. I recommend the RAVIOLI DI ZUCCA and EGGPLANT INVOLTINI. Nice bar to have a low key glass of wine.

I also like Nook . It's small... sort of like a nook, ya get me? and BYOB! And great hot chocolate.

Amy's Bread... overrated but still good. Also, good hottie chocolate.

Great Find

I found this beautiferous lamp on craigslist... actually it wasn't for sale, it was in the picture on a craigslist posting for a mid century credenza (see below). I asked dude if it was for sale, he said no, it was his personal lamp. Then he wrote back saying he'd sell it if his wife was willing to part with it. She was, and now it's mine! It's alabaster marble with brass accents, super heavy, and fabulous.

Still not sure about the size of the shade. Thanks to Frank of Craigslist for parting with it even though he wasn't planning on it... now I just have to find the other one. I know it's out there somewhere.
